Amy Hux - HSA Board Mentor
Amy and her husband, Mason, met in Indianapolis, then moved to Atlanta to flourish their careers in the furniture and interior design industries. After 10 years in the big city, Amy and Mason desired a lifestyle change. They left the Big Peach for coastal living in SC with their 2 young daughters, Violet & Livie. With a switch in locations, came a shifting of gears for Amy from the hustle of an interior design career to the bustle of a stay at home Mom! As their daughters grew and graduated from preschool, Amy entered the preschool scene as Music, Fun & Fitness Instructor at Lighthouse Christian Learning Center. With her growing love of philanthropy and to support youth in her community, Amy has enjoyed a multitude of volunteer opportunities such as St. Benedict's nursery coordinator & VBS program co-coordinator, COKSM Bazaar Chair, Crusader Sponsor coordinator, COKSM School Advisory board member and HSA Board President. She and her family are parishioners at St. Benedict's Catholic Church. Amy, Mason, Violet (12), Livie (10) and Peppa, their spunky dog, are enjoying the lowcountry life and are grateful to be a part of the Crusader family!
